AnyClassroom adds in its most recent update a series of features that improve usability, the most outstanding being: notifications, countdown, and instant reservations of individual devices.
Notifications
Students will receive a desk notification and audible alert 5, 3, and 1 minute before closing the connection, so they will have time to save their work.
Countdown
The countdown has also been added to the login page so the student can control and know how much connection time they have left.
Instant reservations
Tutors can now assign devices on-demand, so if you enable a service chat where your students can request equipment or create a service on your university portal, a student can request a device and if it is free, access can be assigned immediately.
